I was thinking I was going to write a not so glowing review of this place. I came in got something from the to go area but I wanted a salad as well.3 different employees saw me at the register and nobody even acknowledged me. Then a young man came from the back and i asked him if I had to use the kiosk. He said he wasn't really good at the register but he would try to ring up my order. That young man was so polite and helpful and he kept apologizing that he was slow. I didn't care because he was trying, he was giving awesome customer service and I appreciated him. He didn't really take that long and his manager walked up when he finished and he was so proud of being able to ring up my order. I so proud that he cared enough to try. I told his manager what happened and she was happy with him as well. Sometimes when someone is willing to try, that's what matters most That young man has guaranteed a return visit.

Everything was great. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The servers were pleasant and attentive and the atmosphere was busy and all seemed to be enjoying their food. No problems to report. I have been a customer of Newks for many years and always appreciate the food and the service.

I found the food to be quite enjoyable, particularly the shrimp wrap and its accompanying Chipotle sauce. The house salad also met expectations. However, my experience upon entering the restaurant was less than satisfactory. Upon my arrival, two individuals were present at the register: a younger staff member and an individual wearing glasses. The younger staff member was actively assisting another customer. As I approached the counter, the individual without a customer made eye contact but offered no greeting or inquiry regarding my order. Subsequently, another customer with a child entered, and this same individual promptly greeted them and processed their order. Fortunately, another staff member approached the register, extended a greeting, and took my order. I shared my observations with her, and it appeared this was not an isolated incident. In summary, while the culinary offerings were commendable, the deficiency in customer service and the perceived selective assistance significantly detracted from the overall experience. Given these circumstances, I must question the likelihood of my return or my willingness to recommend this establishment.

After a long day at work, I decided not to cook dinner and have dinner at Newks. At checkout I was happy to learn that I had rewards to get a free dessert or drink, I opted for dessert. The Salmon Caesar Salad tossed was made to perfection! The staff was nice and the dining area was exceptionally clean. I truly enjoyed my meal and ended my evening feeling great!

The shrimp po-boy sandwich is amazing! So delicious. What really stood out today too was the staff. From the person who took my order, to the person who brought my food, to the person who was bussing tables - everyone was so friendly and seemed genuine. A great place.
